As Chief Human Resources Officer for Schulte Companies, Stephanie is responsible for leading the enterprise-wide Human Resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, organizational development, performance management, acquisition integration, and training initiatives. Stephanie brings significant human resources expertise to the company with a background that includes over 20 years of public and private sector experience in health care, pharmacy, public safety, and hospitality. Prior to joining Schulte Companies, Stephanie served as a top Human Resources Leader for BrightSpring Health Service and PharMerica, a $4.4 billion dollar revenue company. Stephanie supported Human Resources initiatives and strategies for 55,000 employees located in 48 states, including employee relations, talent acquisition, organizational management, and mergers and acquisitions diligence and integration. Stephanie retired from Kentucky State Government in 2015 after holding several top key Human Resources Leadership positions throughout the state. She is a proven leader that partners with leadership to executive growth strategies while managing the execution of critical initiatives across a large organization.
Stephanie attended both the University of Kentucky and Midway College and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She is both SHRM-SCP and IPMA-SCP Certified and an active member of the local and national professional chapters. Stephanie is a former IPMA-HR Kentucky President and IPMA-HR Southern Region President and she served on the IPMA-HR Executive Committee for 3 years. She is a published author, distinguished public speaker, and national instructor for the preparation course for HR professionals obtaining their certification.
Stephanie lives in Louisville with her husband JP Hamm. She is an active member of the Middletown United Methodist Church where she currently serves as the chair of the Staff Parish Relations Committee and a member of the Church Council. She actively supports Breast Cancer Research Initiatives and is a survivor herself. Stephanie enjoys traveling, music, festivals, and a fun day at the track with friends!
