Katie brings over 14 years of client and agency marketing experience to the Schulte team. She is a proven marketing leader who has developed and executed industry-leading advertising programs that delivered sales results and double-digit improvements in brand health attributes. Most recently, she was Vice President of Marketing & Advertising at Papa John’s International, where she developed the strategy and content for all consumer touchpoints globally, including store design. Prior to that she spent five years working for Wendy’s corporate in several roles, including leading the development of integrated digital and broadcast advertising that drove brand recognition, growth, and revenue. She also has extensive agency experience, including six years at DDB, doing account management, new product campaigns, brand management, strategy, and creative research for a variety of clients such as McDonald’s, Capital One, and Cars.com.
She is passionate about creating advertising that leverages the power of social media and consumer insights. Her work has earned her a number of international awards (Cannes Lions, Effie, Shorty Awards, and Advertising Research Foundation David Ogilvy Award) and she has had the privilege to produce four Super Bowl Commercials and over 250 television advertisements. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English and Speech Communication from Miami University in Oxford, OH. She lives in Louisville with her husband and two young sons.
